The initial shortlist is developed in conjunction with workplace engagement specialist Best Companies. Best Companies provides HR magazine with a list of the top 10 CEOs based on employee feedback, taking into account leadership criteria such as inspiration and confidence in the person leading the organisation and ability to build strong management teams. This information is extrapolated from its database of more than 30,000 organisations. 

This shortlist is now being discussed by our 15 judges - the outcome of which will decide who is crowned Most People Focused CEO for 2013.
